The Position:

We're looking for a Visual Content Manager responsible for:

  • Creatively capturing photo and video content for use across a variety of channels
  • Seamless collaboration and partnership with the marketing/communications team and internal customers to schedule and shoot material throughout the Midwest
  • Coordinate project photos and video shoots with project/construction managers and interviewees
  • Maintain a robust image and video content library - organization and media management are necessities - we welcome practical tools and process ideas.
  • Edit all video and photography content for use in visual marketing projects, sales presentations, training films, HR initiatives, website, and social media and share with the appropriate team members
  • Participate in the strategic planning of all media marketing projects
  • Research new and innovative strategies for communicating information visually by surveying competitors and other construction organizations
  • Prioritize Walbec Core Values in all media communications

The Location:

  • Travel is required, specifically in-season (April - November), for projects throughout Wisconsin and neighboring states. A company vehicle will be provided for travel to locations.

The Candidate:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies, Broadcasting, Digital Media, Communications, or Cinematography, or equivalent experience required
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom, and Audition)
  • Detailed planner with a sense of urgency to accomplish projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong interest in building relationships with colleagues throughout all levels of the Walbec Group organization
  • Goal-orientated with a desire for continuous improvement to ensure the department remains current with visual marketing trends, tools, and resources
  • Strong organizational skills for media content and efficiency in planning for future projects
  • Ability to travel regionally to projects and follow all safety guidelines required
  • A drone license is preferred or required within one month of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
