The Position:

We are looking for a Ready-mix Concrete Plant Foreman to operate the Concrete Plant, as well as oversee and manage ready-mix delivery operations, including dispatch, pre-cast aggregates and all other operational needs for the facility.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

• Batch and load concrete and dispatch ready-mix and aggregate truck fleet
• Manage all workers assigned to the plant, including scheduling, time reporting, discipline, and training
• Oversee truck fleet and arrange for repair and maintenance of vehicles and facilities
• Inventory precast and oversee precast production, quality, and timing
• Maintain production records as needed for any and all aspects of the plant facility
• Oversee aggregate site operations as directed
• Perform customer relations activities as required
• Help train new employees and provide ongoing direction, training, evaluation, and development
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of company facilities
• Maintain retail inventory and provide direct support to customers as needed
• Be an exemplary company and concrete industry representative in the community
• Understand, enforce, and monitor environmental rules and regulations
• Enforce CMV licensing and trucking rules
• Be a safety role model and provide leadership by promoting and enforcing safe work habits

The Location:

• Premier Concrete offices are located in Sturgeon Bay and Baileys Harbor, WI.

The Candidate:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
• Possess, or be willing to obtain and maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class B with air brake endorsement
• Possess and maintain a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Health Card
• Must be, or able to become, knowledgeable in the " Basics" of Concrete
• Have a demonstrated ability to follow instructions (oral and written)
• Above average communication and customer service skills
