The Position:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven individuals, that will undergo a robust training plan to adequately prepare you for the Quality Control Supervisor role. Upon successful completion of the program, the individual will be eligible to apply for a Quality Control Supervisor position (based on need). Under the direction of Area Manager, the Quality Control Supervisor Trainee is responsible for effectively learning to manage, coach, and develop a team of quality control technicians. While working alongside current Quality Control Supervisors, this individual will be exposed to, trained, and evaluated in proactive management of construction and manufacturing quality control processes and preparatory requirements to ensure ethical compliance. This individual will also be assisting in instilling a safe work culture within Technical Services throughout their development.

The Candidate:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in inspection and testing of road and paving materials and construction; satisfactorily directed testing or inspection services, or both, of road and paving materials is acceptable.
• Holds or is qualified for a current WisDOT HMA-TPC (WI), IDOT - HMA II (IL), or MDOT (MI) certification.
• Demonstrates problem solving skills.
• Desire to effectively train, evaluate and communicate with others.
• Aspire to have the ability to oversee multiple and/or complex projects simultaneously.
• Must be proficient with computers, the Microsoft suite of programs, and an understanding of current technology trends.
• Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
