Pump Truck / Lowboy Driver - Heavy Equipment

Position summary: 
Zenith Tech in Waukesha is looking for a safety-oriented and efficient Pump Truck/Lowboy Driver to help with the transportation of Heavy Equipment and materials that will be used in building, repairing and paving of roads and bridges.
 
Role and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tractor and trailer lowboy/flat to perform assigned tasks relating to road construction, repair and paving
  • Safety secure and unsecure all loads
  • Safely transport equipment and materials via tractor and trailer to job sites and back, work with foreman on site while loading and unloading heavy equipment and materials safely
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Lifting items over 50 pounds on a daily basis
  • Oporate a semi-tractor with a concrete pump, pump concrete for bridge deck crews
  • Manual labor when not pumping which will mainly be setting up equipment (hoses, tankers, other construction materials)
  • Overnights throughout the region

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of related tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads
  • Valid Class A CDL and satisfactory driving record

Preferred Skills:
 

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work with others well and working knowledge of all FMCSA regulatory rules

Description of Position:

Drives truck equipped with auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to construction sites
